US Isn't Forum For ImageSat Shareholder Suit: 2nd Circ.

Law360, New York (October 22, 2009, 1:24 PM EDT) -- A satellite company accused by shareholders of being beholden to the Israeli government has won a federal appeals court decision that likely will send the case to be heard in Israel.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Wednesday affirmed the dismissal of a suit against Israel-based ImageSat International NV on the ground of forum non conveniens, dealing a blow to minority shareholders who pressed to have the case heard in a New York courtroom.
