Calpine Draws On AlixPartners’ Ranks For New CFO

Law360, New York (November 7, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Calpine Corp. has tapped a consultant with turnaround giant AlixPartners LLP to serve as the company’s chief financial officer, hoping that she will be able to help steer the embattled energy provider back on track.

On Monday, Calpine revealed that Lisa J. Donahue had been named to the CFO position, though she will technically remain an employee of AlixPartners.

For the services provided, Calpine intends to pay the turnaround firm an estimated $670 an hour, according to court documents.

Donahue herself will not receive any compensation...
