Ex-DHB Head Loses Bid To Toss Fraud Charges

Law360, New York (October 29, 2009, 3:11 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to dismiss wire and mail fraud allegations against founder and former CEO of body armor company DHB Industries David Brooks, who the federal government also indicted for securities and accounting fraud, tax evasion and insider trading in 2007.

Judge Joanna Seybert of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Tuesday rejected Brooks' arguments that the allegations do not fall under the wire and mail fraud statutes.
