Dell Settles Call Center Workers' OT Suit

Law360, New York (October 30, 2009, 6:27 PM EDT) -- Dell Inc. has reportedly resolved a collective wage-and-hour action accusing the computer company of making call center employees work off the clock and cheating them out of overtime compensation.

The settlement agreement, which was filed under seal in September in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, will affect 1,406 call center employees from Oregon, Idaho, Texas, Oklahoma and Tennessee, the Associated Press reported Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
