High Court Asks Solicitor General For Brief In Pfizer Suit

Law360, New York (November 2, 2009, 7:39 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has asked Solicitor General Elena Kagan to weigh in on the Alien Tort Statute in a case involving pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc.'s medical experiments in Nigeria.

On Monday the high court invited Kagan to file a brief expressing the government's views on two questions Pfizer brought up in its petition for a writ of certiorari.
