Law360, New York (November 2, 2009, 7:07 PM EST) -- The John Steinbeck copyright feud may be far from over, but the author's heirs and publisher Penguin Group (USA) Inc. have agreed to temporarily stay their battle over rights connected to novella “The Pearl” until the fight over an underlying termination notice is resolved.
