Immigrants Driving College Enrollment Gains, Report Finds

Law360 (October 15, 2020, 10:03 PM EDT) -- Immigrant students and students of immigrant parents have driven most of the growth in U.S. university and college enrollment over the past two decades, according to a report published Thursday by the Migration Policy Institute.

The first-of-its-kind analysis looked at the makeup of college students and found that higher education students are more likely to come from immigrant families than in the past and are more likely to be of racial and ethnic minorities.
