DC Circ. Says Facts 'A Wreck' In $1.1M Tribal Funding Fight

Law360 (October 16, 2020, 10:20 PM EDT) -- D.C. Circuit judges struggled Friday to wrap their minds around the details of a fight over $1.1 million in tribal health care funding in which "the facts are just a wreck," according to one judge.

U.S. Circuit Judge Patricia A. Millett was the panel member who made that declaration and she spent most of the hourlong oral argument trying to make sense of the laws surrounding tribal health care funding, which she said was a "steep learning curve" for her.
