Former Enron Broadband CFO Evades Prison Time

Law360, New York (November 3, 2009, 1:57 PM EST) -- Five months after fessing up to falsifying books and records, the former chief financial officer of Enron Broadband Services Inc. has been hit with one year of probation — including nine months of home confinement — and a $25,000 fine.

Judge Vanessa D. Gilmore of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas handed down the sentence for Kevin Howard, 46, on Monday.
