California Work-At-Home Employees Sue Cigna Healthcare

Law360 (November 9, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Employees of insurance provider Cigna Healthcare of California Inc. filed a class action suit against the company Wednesday, claiming that as part of a work-at-home program they were denied overtime compensation and other employee benefits.

The claim was filed on behalf of all the hourly claims processors who were part of Cigna’s now-defunct work-at-home program, which may total as many as 500 people.
