Ex-Time Warner Exec Loses Whistleblower Appeal

Law360, New York (November 5, 2009, 3:58 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has refused to reverse the dismissal of a suit brought against Time Warner Inc. by a former executive who claimed he was fired in retaliation for making whistleblower claims regarding alleged financial irregularities.

A three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Tuesday rejected the appeal of Chandrashekhar Thanedar, the former director of finance at Time Warner Cable's Houston division and a pro se plaintiff, from the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas....
