Realtime, F5 Networks Reach Deal In Data Patent Spat

Law360, New York (November 6, 2009, 1:39 PM EST) -- Realtime Data LLC has won court approval for a settlement and licensing deal with F5 Networks Inc. and one of its customers, putting to rest allegations that the companies infringed seven patents covering compression-based data acceleration technology.

Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off Thursday on a settlement and license agreement between Realtime, IT supplier F5 Networks and Averitt Express Inc.
