Auto Industry Says It Will Work With Biden To Curb Emissions

Law360 (December 1, 2020, 10:20 PM EST) -- A key auto industry trade group that represents nearly 99% of new car and light truck manufacturers in the U.S. said Tuesday the long-term future of the industry is electric and that it will work with the incoming administration of President-elect Joe Biden to reduce emissions nationwide.

The statement from the Alliance of Automotive Innovation, a newly formed trade group that resulted from the union of Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and the Association of Global Automakers, came after the group held its semiannual board meeting.
