KBR Faces Another Suit Over Burn Pit Toxic Fumes

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 2:47 PM EST) -- Three North Dakota men who served in Iraq have become the latest to file a proposed class action accusing KBR Inc. and other military contractors of exposing them to toxic fumes from giant burn pits.

The complaint, lodged Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota, alleged that KBR and certain affiliates, along with Halliburton and ERKA Ltd., were paid millions of dollars to dispose of waste on bases and camps in Iraq and Afghanistan.
