Noteholders Withdraw Request For FairPoint Examiner

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 4:11 PM EST) -- The ad hoc committee of noteholders in FairPoint Communications Inc.’s Chapter 11 case has withdrawn its request for the appointment of an examiner, just weeks after the telecommunications company’s business plan and public statements leading up to its filing were found to be unreliable due to either obfuscation or incompetence.
