Endo To Pay $23M To Settle Patent Suit Over Patch

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 6:24 PM EST) -- Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. announced Wednesday that it would pay patent-holding company LecTec Corp. $23 million to settle a suit that accused the drugmaker of infringing two patents related to adhesive patches.

Chadds Ford, Pa.-based Endo said it would make the one-time payment in exchange for an exclusive license on the two patents, which it plans to use in the field of prescription pain medicines and treatment.
