AP Adds Claims To Obama 'Hope' Image Dispute

Law360, New York (November 13, 2009, 4:14 PM EST) -- The Associated Press has beefed up its case against Shepard Fairey, the artist behind the famous Obama “Hope” image who recently admitted to having been “mistaken” on some allegations in his original complaint and to destroying evidence.

The AP, which says Fairey's iconic image ripped off one of its photos, included that revelation and other information gleaned from discovery in an amended answer and counterclaims, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
