Investor Slams Sanctions Objection In CBD Co. Securities Suit

Law360 (January 11, 2021, 7:13 PM EST) -- The lead plaintiff in a securities class action against a CBD company that allegedly misled investors about a rejected patent application has pushed back against objections filed by the company and its former executives after a magistrate judge hit them with sanctions.

Richard Ina, a trustee of the Ina Family Trust, said in a filing Friday that an objection from former CV Sciences Inc. executives Michael Mona Jr. and Michael Mona III is frivolous and beyond the court's review.
