Law360, New York (November 18, 2009, 2:34 PM EST) -- American Laser Centers continues to shave off allegations that the skin treatment clinic shortchanges its employees, most recently winning dismissal of class claims that its pay practices violate the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

On Monday Judge Stephen J. Murphy III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan dealt American Laser Centers workers a blow, ruling that the company is not liable for alleged ERISA violations because ALC did not act as a retirement plan fiduciary when denying pay to its employees....
