IPhone Antitrust Plaintiffs Seek OS Source Code

Law360, New York (November 19, 2009, 6:41 PM EST) -- IPhone buyers who claim Apple Inc. and AT&T Mobility LLC violated antitrust laws by monopolizing the aftermarket for iPhone voice and data services have asked a federal judge to make Apple fork over iPhone source code.

The plaintiffs on Wednesday filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to compel Apple to produce documents, including source code for Version 1.1.1 of the iPhone operating system.
