Internet Advocacy Group Asks SEC To Stay NYSE Fees

Law360 (November 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- An Internet advocacy group boasting formidable members like Yahoo! Inc. and Google Inc. petitioned the Securities and Exchange Commission Tuesday to stay a staff decision authorizing a dramatic change in the pricing structure for access to real-time market data.

Washington, D.C.-based NetCoalition, which describes itself as “a public policy voice for some of the world’s most innovative companies on the Internet,” petitioned to halt the recently approved fee increases for the New York Stock Exchange’s Archipelago electronics market.
