US Appeals Order On Canadian Wheat Duty Deposits

Law360, New York (November 23, 2009, 12:47 PM EST) -- The United States is appealing a judgment ordering it to return duty deposits it had collected from the Canadian Wheat Board on exports of hard red spring wheat in the wake of the revocation of the original anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders.

In a notice filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, the government said it would appeal last month's judgment in favor of the Canadian Wheat Board to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
