Reader's Digest Files New Plan, Asks For More Time

Law360, New York (November 23, 2009, 1:14 PM EST) -- Publisher The Reader's Digest Association Inc. has filed an amended reorganization plan and asked a bankruptcy court to extend the company's exclusivity period.

Reader's Digest on Friday filed its amended Chapter 11 plan in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. It notified the court Monday that it would request an extension of its exclusive right to file a plan through Feb. 22.
