Stock Analyst Arrested In $5M Fraud Scheme

Law360, New York (November 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A freelance stock analyst named as a defendant in a securities civil lawsuit was arrested Monday in New York on unrelated criminal wire fraud charges.

Spyro Contogouris was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on the charge of defrauding his employer, a group of holding companies that controlled various properties in New York and Houston, of more than $5 million over the course of nine years.
