Sales Rep Challenges Eli Lilly For Unpaid Overtime

Law360, New York (November 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former sales representative at Eli Lilly & Co. has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against the pharmaceutical giant for failing to pay overtime and for failing to maintain accurate time records.

In the suit, which was filed Tuesday before the U.S. District Court in Syracuse, N.Y., Susan Schaefer-Larose also accused the company of trying to get away with its alleged misdeeds by unlawfully classifying sales representatives as exempt from laws requiring overtime pay.
