Justices from both ends of the high court's ideological spectrum lobbed occasionally pointed questions at the attorney, Kannon K. Shanmugam of Williams & Connolly LLP, with both Justices Antonin Scalia and Ruth Bader Ginsburg engaging in vigorous sparring with Merck's counsel....
