Pilots Seek DOJ Probe Of US Airways-Delta Deal

Law360, New York (November 30, 2009, 7:17 PM EST) -- The US Airline Pilots Association is lashing out at a proposed slot transfer deal between US Airways Group Inc. and Delta Airlines Inc., urging federal antitrust authorities to investigate the potential impacts of the transaction.

The USAPA said Monday that it had asked the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division to conduct the probe because the deal “may have serious antitrust concerns.”
