Jury Clears Sprinklr In Fired Tech Salesman's Bias Trial
Law360 (March 30, 2021, 8:55 PM EDT) -- The marketing-tech platform Sprinklr was cleared by a federal Zoom jury Tuesday on a former top salesman's claims that his request for commission from a $50 million Microsoft sale was met with termination.
A jury of eight people in the Western District of Washington found Tuesday afternoon that Sprinklr did not terminate Joseph Dries' employment in violation of public policy; that Dries did not prove he was the procuring cause of a sale to Microsoft; and that Sprinklr did not fail to pay Dries wages.
