Court Enforces Dismissal Of Kraft OT Class Action

Law360, New York (December 2, 2009, 1:24 PM EST) -- A federal judge has enforced a settlement agreement that dismissed a proposed class action accusing Kraft Foods Global Inc. of overtime wage and record-keeping violations, but stopped short of granting Kraft's request for sanctions against the plaintiffs' counsel.

Judge Paul D. Borman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Friday granted Kraft's motion to enforce a months-old settlement that dismissed claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
