2nd Circ. Won't Revive MDL Over Brazilian Plane Crash

Law360, New York (December 2, 2009, 6:44 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has dealt a blow to family members of passengers killed when a jet headed to Rio de Janeiro crashed in the Amazon rain forest in 2006, rejecting their challenge to a district court's dismissal of their wrongful death suits against Lockheed Martin Corp., Raytheon Co. and others.
