Two More Enron Execs Sentenced To Jail Time

Law360, New York (November 17, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The former investor relations director for Enron Corp. was sentenced to 18 months in prison on Friday, and the top aide to former Enron finance chief Andrew Fastow was stuck with 37 months.

Mark Koenig and Michael Kopper are the third and fourth Enron executives to be sentenced to jail time.

Kopper and Koenig were given reduced sentences for their cooperation in prosecuting other ex-Enron executives by Judge Ewing Werlein Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
