Verizon, NYC Cleared Of $60M Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (December 8, 2009, 4:59 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has ruled that the city of New York has authority to manage and restrict pay phone franchise installations on public property, ending a $60 million Federal Telecommunications Act and antitrust action brought against the city and Verizon Inc. by The New Phone Co. Inc.
