Phone Card Customers Lose Class Certification Bid

Law360, New York (December 8, 2009, 7:32 PM EST) -- A group of California consumers who claimed phone card vendor Touch-Tel USA LP falsely advertised and shorted them on minutes has lost a bid to certify a class, with a federal judge ruling that individual issues predominate.
