Georgia-Pacific Hit With Class Action Over Drywall

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 1:37 PM EST) -- Not only Chinese companies but American firms too have caused damage to tens of thousands of homes by providing tainted drywall, according to a proposed class action complaint against Georgia-Pacific LLC.

In a second amended complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, homeowners Michael and Jill Swidler said drywall made by Georgia-Pacific emitted sulfide and other volatile organic compounds.
