Suit Over Orlando Airport Land Deal Sent To Fed. Court

Law360, New York (December 14, 2009, 7:18 PM EST) -- An aviation investment group's $100 million lawsuit against the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority — the airport operator that allegedly stymied the group's property contract and bullied its way through a decade-long land grab — has been bumped up to federal court.

The suit, which accuses the GOAA of tortious interference with a business relationship and with Peninsula Group Capital Corp.'s contract for the land, was removed to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Friday.
