High Court Lets Pension Termination Fee Ruling Stand

Law360, New York (December 14, 2009, 4:09 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to weigh whether companies can discharge fees owed to the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. when terminating a pension plan through Chapter 11, leaving alive a federal appeals court decision barring employers from doing so.
