Pepsi, Coke Bottle Up Powerade False Ads Dispute

Law360, New York (December 16, 2009, 4:22 PM EST) -- Rival sports drink makers PepsiCo Inc. and The Coca-Cola Co. have reached an agreement to resolve Pepsi's unfair competition and trademark dilution suit claiming that Coke has run misleading ads about the effectiveness of Pepsi's Gatorade products compared with Coke's Powerade ION4 sports drinks.
