Court Snubs Last-Ditch Motion In Univasc Suit

Law360 (November 22, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A U.S. district judge has rejected a last-ditch effort by German drug maker Schwarz Pharma AG to avert generic production of its anti-hypertensive drug Univasc by Paddock Laboratories Inc.

Schwarz’s so-called rule 59(e) request to reconsider an earlier ruling was struck down in an order issued Nov. 20 by Judge Ann D. Montgomery in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
