Cintas To Settle Living Wage Suit For $6.5M

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 3:41 PM EST) -- Cintas Corp. has agreed to pay $6.5 million to settle a class action alleging that it violated the city of Los Angeles' living wage ordinance, labor union Workers United said Thursday.

Workers United, which believes the settlement to be the largest ever for alleged violations of a living wage ordinance, said that once the deal is finalized, it will be presented to the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles for approval.
