US Bank Loses Bid To Dismiss Late Wages Case

Law360, New York (January 5, 2010, 3:59 PM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to dismiss a putative class action accusing U.S. Bank NA of failing to pay former employees their final wages on time.

Judge Paul Papak of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon denied U.S. Bank's motion to dismiss the case on Dec. 28, saying the pleadings are sufficiently detailed to show that U.S. Bank could be liable for violations of Oregon wage-and-hour law.
