Kodak, Samsung Bury Hatchet Over Camera Patents

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 6:50 PM EST) -- Eastman Kodak Co. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. have agreed to a settlement that will resolve numerous patent disputes over digital camera technology between the two companies in the U.S. International Trade Commission and other courts in the U.S. and Germany.

The settlement does not include monetary consideration but will involve a technology cross-license that is royalty bearing to Kodak, according to separate statements released by the companies on Monday.
