Yahoo Says No To Google Subpoena

Law360, New York (November 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Yahoo Inc. has issued a scathing objection to rival search engine Google Inc’s request for a subpoena, arguing that Google’s demands for confidential information are “overly broad, unduly burdensome, vague and ambiguous.”

“Google’s overbroad and unreasonable attempt to obtain confidential and trade secret documents from one of its chief competitors fails minimally to satisfy the standards…of civil procedure,” said Yahoo in an objection it served to Google.
