Molina Healthcare Buys Unisys Unit For $135M

Law360, New York (January 19, 2010, 2:14 PM EST) -- Managed health care services provider Molina Healthcare Inc. plans to buy Unisys Corp.'s health information management business for about $135 million in cash.

Molina Healthcare expects the acquisition to close in the first half of 2010, depending on regulatory approvals and closing conditions that include receiving customer consents, the company announced Tuesday.

Unisys's health information management business has annual revenues of about $110 million. The business's 900 employees will move to Molina Healthcare after the acquisition, and Unisys will provide certain transitional and technology support services...
