Coca-Cola Diversity Task Force Ends After Five Years

Law360, New York (December 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge on Friday dissolved a task force created by a $200 million settlement agreement over a race and sex discrimination lawsuit brought against The Coca-Cola Co. in 1998.

As part of the agreement approved in 2001, Judge Richard W. Story created an outside, seven-person task force to oversee the beverage company’s compliance with the terms of the settlement.
