CIT OKs Dumping Margin On Turkish Steel Imports

Law360, New York (January 20, 2010, 1:16 PM EST) -- A U.S. Court of International Trade judge has upheld the Department of Commerce's recalculation of the dumping margin for steel concrete reinforcing bars from Turkey after receiving no major resistance from the parties.

Judge Delissa A. Ridgway issued an order Monday sustaining Commerce's final results of redetermination on the dumping margin for Turkish exporter ICDAS Celik Enerji Tersane ve Ulasim Sanayi AS.

Commerce had decided in November to impose a 0.7 percent margin on ICDAS in response to a challenge from domestic steel producers Nucor Corp.,...
