Medical Association Wants States' Vax Mandate Suit Denied

By Rosie Manins (December 2, 2021, 5:00 PM EST) -- The American Medical Association urged a Georgia federal court Thursday to deny a request by Georgia and six other states to block the Biden administration's COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors.

In an amicus brief, the nonprofit that represents doctors and medical students said COVID-19 has wreaked havoc nationwide, killing more than 770,000 Americans. It said widespread vaccination is essential to ending the coronavirus pandemic and preventing thousands more needless deaths.
