NJ Solar Bill Opens Markets, Adds Jobs: Advocates

Law360, New York (January 21, 2010, 3:44 PM EST) -- New Jersey will remain a national leader in solar energy, thanks to a new law applauded by solar advocates for institutionalizing and updating renewable energy goals outlined in the state's Energy Master Plan and forcing utilities to grow the share of solar in their distribution portfolios over time.

Titled “The Solar Energy Advancement and Fair Competition Act,” the bill was signed into law by former Gov. John Corzine on Monday, his last day in office.
