Claims Pared Again In Exxon Mobil Tank Leak Suit

Law360, New York (January 22, 2010, 4:20 PM EST) -- A federal judge has once again trimmed down allegations in a suit accusing Exxon Mobil Corp. of refusing to contribute to cleanup costs stemming from underground storage tank leaks at a property it once owned in California.

Judge Claudia Wilken in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday granted the oil giant's request to toss the plaintiffs' claims of misrepresentation and violations of California unfair competition law, without leave to amend.
