Citi Wants To Boot Terra Firma Fraud Suit Over Merger

Law360, New York (January 22, 2010, 4:16 PM EST) -- Citigroup Inc. has asked a federal court to dismiss Terra Firma Investments' suit accusing the banking giant of fraud during the private equity group's acquisition of the EMI Group Ltd., saying an English court would be a more appropriate venue.

Citi filed a motion to dismiss Terra Firma's suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
