Judge Upholds $1.2 million SESAC Award Against WPN

Law360, New York (October 22, 2003, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Judge Robert Cindrich in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania ruled that radio operator WPNT must make good on the $1.2 million jury verdict awarded to performing rights organization SESAC and rejected the company's request for a new trial and a claim that the verdict should be tied to a ratio of the cost of the license at issue, the Nashville Business Journal reported.
